"I am grateful for the support, understanding, and advice, analyses you have brought me over the months we have been seeing each other. This helped me to start understanding more about myself and it was very helpful to have someone to share with, be truthful with, and get support and understanding from." (August 2019)
I am the founder and director of a private practice called Atlas Psychology based in the City of London. Rowenna is extremely professional in her approach and always gives really clear explanations about the methods she is about to use in each session. She is also very non judgemental about any issues that have come up during the sessions and therefore really easy to talk to. I approached Rowenna as I was suffering from anxiety in certain work situations and social situations, since attending the sessions the anxiety has decreased and I feel far more confident and able to enjoy my time at work and socially without worrying. I also had an issue with caffeine addiction and since attending the sessions my caffeine intake has decreased and I am on the way to giving it up completely.

As a Clinical Psychologist I have been trained in providing comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions using a range of therapeutic models. We set out to effectively treat adults with emotional problems such as depression and anxiety.

Every one of us has the capacity to feel joy, optimism, serenity and motivation; unfortunately, stress all too often prevents us from experiencing these pleasurable aspects of ourselves.
Fantastic experience! The whole process from assessment and diagnosis, and throughout treatment, made me feel understood and helped me easily understand why my problems first emerged and what kept them going. After this I was guided through a range of methods to manage and sometimes prevent the fear and anxiety I was going through. The improvements I had were phenomonal and my quality of life has transformed. I would highly recommend treatment from Equanimity Psychological Services.

Having the chance to talk, think and work with Belinda has had a huge and positive impact on my life. Our first session happened as I was coming into a new leadership role in the organisation for which I work, but also as I was trying to deal with various pressures outside of work, particularly related to my family life. Belinda offered me a welcoming space, free of judgement, in which I could discuss the issues that were most present and pressing. She helped me to think about boundaries between different aspects of my life without compelling me to artificially compartmentalise.
Although initially I was only supposed to attend coaching sessions with Belinda for six months, I ended up seeing her for almost two years until moving abroad. Indeed, the fact that, despite often challenging circumstances, I have developed the confidence to move abroad and pursue new and exciting opportunities is, in no small part, down to the support and reflective environment Belinda provided. She helped me develop strategies to address practical challenges. She respected and even nurtured my inclination to reflect on ideas and rationalise my reality, but she also encouraged me to come 'out of my head' and connect with emotional and physical feeling in a way that I had not done in the past. We used different techniques to explore how and why particular relationships and moments guide my decisions. Most notably, Belinda has helped me to develop a deeper relationship with myself; to build my understanding of my own interests, concerns and desires; and to find ways of respecting and standing up for these while maintaining caring and loving relationships with others.
I will forever be grateful for Belinda's generosity, gentleness and guidance.
