We provide tuition on all ORCHESTRAL instruments and piano. (that is flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, french horn, tuba, violin, viola, cello and bass, orchestral percussion, the only exception is the saxophone which appears in the wind band). This is also mainly classical music. Yes we do ABRSM exams from grade 1 to diploma. www.worlestonmusicschool.co.uk. Orchestral instruments are on the decline.

At the age of 61, I started learning the saxophone with Andrew in January 2106. I am doing this for my own pleasure and he manages my lessons perfectly! He pushes a bit occasionally, but knows when to step back as I do not want this to turn into something stressful. He is very easy to be with and I have made considerable progress with him. I would highly recommend him as a teacher.

From the first contact Josh has been helpful and accommodating with my lessons and availability for lessons. Josh is an outstanding teacher that seems to know how to get the best results from me in my time on the piano, and has a genuine interest in my progression. Lessons are never rushed and very relaxed and with the addition of having a beautiful baby grand piano to learn on, every lesson is a joy and looked forward to.
I highly recommend Josh as a piano teacher for all ages and abilities, the price is extremely good value for money and time well spent, I for one intend on being a student of his for many years to come.

Fiona has the rare gift of being both a wonderful and vastly experienced pianist in her own right and also an excellent teacher of others. Her style is patient and encouraging whilst giving focused teaching that helps you to progress - I always know precisely how to make my practice better following my lessons. I am an adult learner but have seen the same positivity and guidance given to her younger students. Fiona has helped me through several exams and whilst not practising towards an exam, has selected an interesting and varied repertoire of pieces for me that are within my ability but also stretching, so that I continue to develop. I thoroughly enjoy my lessons and - most importantly - love playing the piano for pleasure. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fiona and the Cheshire School of Music

My daughter has had Piano lessons with Grant and has really enjoyed it. He really works on preparing lessons tailored to the student, which makes learning much more engaging, specially when you are just starting up at the instrument. Plus, he is a genuinely nice guy and I loved watching the sessions myself :) I would strongly recommend anyone who wants to learn or improve at piano to look for him!
I am passionate about the piano and love seeing my pupils grow their own passion too. I have a varied taste in music and believe its important to play different genres to keep it interesting and teach different skills. I have taught all ages and abilities over the years and have never met someone I couldn’t teach so if you are thinking about learning or returning to the piano, go for it!

I am 58 years old and always wanted to learn to play the piano. After a few false starts I started having piano lessons with Phoebe. Phoebe is a patient and supportive teacher and is always looking for different ways to explain and demonstrate ways of improving. She got me through my grade1 and I will be sitting grade 2 shortly! I would highly recommend Phoebe as Piano teacher across all age groups.
