Jessica was wonderful from start to finish, we booked her a year and 6 months before our wedding. She was very clear and upfront with her prices and catered for our needs. We met her 3 months before the wedding to confirm all the timings of the day, she made us feel comfortable and was very excited for our day. On the day she was confident and bubbly and blended in perfectly to get those 'stolen shots'. We were in Newquay to celebrate a dear father / grandfather's 80th birthday and thought it would be lovely to have a photographic record of the event as it is rare to get the whole family together..
I looked through the internet and found Daniel, I liked his images on his website and booked him for a photo-shoot.
We didn't want to spend hours having staged photographs as we didn't want it to be intrusive to the fun of the weekend. Daniel got it just right, he found a great spot for the photographs to be taken, worked quickly and really caught the spirit of our family.

From a technical point of view, if I had to choose just one aspect, lighting would be my most important factor. I have spent extensive time building my ability to see, create and modify light to achieve stunning imagery.

I love working with people. I love creating special images and seeing how these can have a positive impact on my clients - a confidence boost to someone who 'hates having their photo taken'; a fully booked holiday apartment; the reaction of parents when they see photos of their children or a bride and groom when they get to relive their special day. And, from a portraiture point of view, knowing that, one day, when a photograph is all that is left, I have created a legacy that will be enjoyed by future generations.
As a former primary school teacher, and mum to three grown children, I am used to being organised and taking control. I started my own photography business while living in Kuwait as I wanted to explore my creative side (I come from a creative background but was never encouraged down that route). I had the opportunity to get formal training and qualifications and also commisions from large companies and organisations very early on; I hit the ground running and have kept ther momentum going!
My background and style is different to many photographers in the area. I have worked in a wide range of sectors and with many different clients.
