If you are looking for a wedding photographer look no further! Sam photographed my wedding (28/08/19) and the results were amazing. It rained! But Sam still caught so many wonderful images. You put a lot of trust into someone to catch photos you'll only have one chance to get, and my partner and I were so pleased with the results. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Understanding. There needs to be good, clear understanding and communication between the photographer and the client. If I know what makes a client tick, or what they are after in terms of photographic style, I can make it happen!
From a technical point of view, if I had to choose just one aspect, lighting would be my most important factor. I have spent extensive time building my ability to see, create and modify light to achieve stunning imagery.

What do you love most about your job?
I love working with people. I love creating special images and seeing how these can have a positive impact on my clients - a confidence boost to someone who 'hates having their photo taken'; a fully booked holiday apartment; the reaction of parents when they see photos of their children or a bride and groom when they get to relive their special day. And, from a portraiture point of view, knowing that, one day, when a photograph is all that is left, I have created a legacy that will be enjoyed by future generations.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As a former primary school teacher, and mum to three grown children, I am used to being organised and taking control. I started my own photography business while living in Kuwait as I wanted to explore my creative side (I come from a creative background but was never encouraged down that route). I had the opportunity to get formal training and qualifications and also commisions from large companies and organisations very early on; I hit the ground running and have kept ther momentum going!
Why should our clients choose you?
My background and style is different to many photographers in the area. I have worked in a wide range of sectors and with many different clients. I can work to a brief and am happy to discuss a client's needs over coffee without any commitment or obligation to book me. I love helping people and will go out of my way to exceed your needs and expectations. I am qualified and fully insured. I only use professional equipment and have back up systems in place such as spares for my spares! Get in touch - you have absolutely nothing to lose and much to gain!

Absolutely! There are several services, such as photographic restoration, that can be done online. Small businesses can also post products to be photographed so that there is no face to face contact.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We continually monitor the advice of the government and follow all recommendations. We appeal to clients not to try and evade any restrictions as the safety of our clients and our own families is of utmost importance.
Event photography
Event photography can be anything from a party to a wedding. My prices start at £175 per hour, although there is room for negotiation depending on location and amount of time required.
Photo digitalisation and restoration
Do you have a stack of old slides or negatives? Or maybe old photographs that have seen better days? We can digitalise and/ or enhance images from as little as £25 per 30 minutes work. For further information and individual quotes, please get in touch.
Portrait Photography
We offer bespoke, high end portraiture services either in a studio setting or on location. For private individuals and families we generally charge a session fee of £250 (no images included) and include a £150 print credit toward the purchase of prints or wall art. Fine art quality matted prints start from £70 each (if purchased as part of the largest print package).
