Our doodle, Dede, just had the time of her life staying with Chris and Colin for a two-week stretch! They are simply top notch carers. Thorough and professional when it came to getting all of Dede's medical information, routines, etc., accommodating and responsive when it came to scheduling, super sweet and attentive, and importantly, FUN pet people, Dede absolutely loved being a part of this warm family environment. Leanne has been looking after my dog, Dante, since he was 12 weeks old and I can’t speak highly enough of the level of care he receives from her. From investing time ahead of starting to take him out so he’d get used to her to regular updates while I was getting used to have him away from me, I cannot think of anything Leanne could have done better to make sure Dante (and me!) were happy at all times.
Dante is an Italian greyhound which is a breed known for being very shy and nervous and therefore hard to socialise and I believe Leanne played a major part in how well socialised and easy going Dante is today. Our walks are through fields and wooded areas, with plenty of opportunity for ball play for the energetic, or a sedate stroll for the older dogs. Towel dried if wet, water bowls are checked and, if required, food or a treat can be given before leaving your pet to sleep the afternoon away!

The cat is not particularly sociable so even now, any interaction is celebrated and Gina has never tried to force her to be friendlier - although bribery with cat snacks has worked on occasion! I trust Gina implicitly to ensure my cat is happy and healthy in my absence. I have no transport so Gina also runs us to and from the vet a couple of times a year for check ups. Dogs are great, each have there own little personalities and characteristic traits so what's not to love?
After a career working away a lot overseas, I decided to start follow my heart and work with dogs full time. COVID hasn't helped us dog walkers but I still thoroughly enjoy my time out in the fresh air with the dogs seeing them having fun brings me pleasure!
First of all I am honest, reliable and trustworthy. My focus is to provide a professional service and focus building a special bond with the dogs I care for.
I only take 4 well behaved dogs on each walk so you can be sure your dog is having fun and also less travel time and more time out walking. Other companies may take 8-12 dogs out at a time which I believe is excessive and unfair on the dogs being transported for far longer than necessary!
I will also use your commands so your dog will not get confused and will always only use positive reinforcement training methods. I am not a dog trainer but will always praise your dog and treat them when they react well to a command.
I also vary my walks, go to different parks and wooded areas, take different routes, go ‘off-piste’ and I often find new places I haven't seen before. I enjoy it, and so do the dogs :)
I am Fully Insured, canine first aid qualified and have hold several other related certifications. I am also a member of the professional dog walkers association which has a strict code of conduct on how dogs should be cared for which I fully support.
