Very disappointed with service , 5 weeks before we were due to go on holiday ,Nannies for Pets cancels , having booked with them since Christmas . To add insult to injury did not even have the common decency to phone us , sent a what’s app message , which I find very unprofessional .Seems to come across as they take bookings , and don’t have enough staff to cover, so it’s a bit of a lottery. ,definitely won’t be using this company again. I use Hana's services on a regularly basis, she is the only person I entrust with the care of all my animals. I have been using Hana since she started out and cannot fault the care and pride she takes in her work. Always professional and treats my dogs and horses like her own with a real 5* feel. I can not recommend Nannies for Pets enough!!Both our cat and dog received excellent care and we could not be happier with our sitter. Our 11 month old pup has been looked after by Hana a couple days a week since he was 12 weeks old and it was the best decision we made for his care. After visiting local doggy day cares we just didn’t feel right leaving him outside in a field all day full of dogs, especially during his key socialisation period where negative experiences would really impact him. We were over the moon to find Nannies 4 Pets who offered a puppy sitting service. Straight away when I met Hana I really felt like I could trust her and she has such a wonderful way with dogs. It was a nerve wracking thought leaving him for the first time but I felt really comfortable leaving him in the care of Nannies 4 Pets. They have since built such a special relationship and it is so clear that my pup absolutely LOVES her! It is the best feeling to know that I’ve found someone who I not only fully trust but who treats him so well and makes him so happy. I love receiving the photos and videos of their group walks around the Kent countryside, playing in rivers and mixing with other dogs. Hana is so friendly and helpful, always happy to chat about my pups development and reassure me when I have had any concerns with him, health or behaviour wise. You can really tell that she really knows dogs and genuinely cares about him. She is also happy to be flexible when I need to change my days which is brilliant. Me and my partner went away and unfortunately put our trust in the wrong person to look after our animals. Whilst boarding our plane and in a panic we contacted Nannies 4 Pets who literally saved our holiday as we were considering having to turn around and not fly. At such short notice the company owner whom was incredibly sympathetic was able to fit us into her schedule and provided a great service at the same time. The greyhound and my jack russell cross had a great time on their walks and my little old lady daxie was more than happy to remain in her normal surroundings. What do you love most about your job?
I get to spend my days with such a variety of animals!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Friends and friends of friends would always ask if I would walk their dogs or house/pet sit for them. After 5 years of just earning some extra pocket money while studying I saw there were more and more people interested and demand began to grow! So I decided to go for it and make it a business.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have over 8 years experience with a huge range of different animals from dogs to alpacas as well as reptiles! I have also spent a collective 6 years at college and university learning about horses! I love all animals and treat everyone of them like my own!
Dog Walking
I know some of the best spots to go walking thanks in part to my own dog who helps me explore and find the most exciting walks.
Pet/House Sitting
Offering a wide range of pet/house sitting services, all at your own home. Studies have shown that pets are more relaxed and less stressed by you going away when they can remain in their own safe environment.
Please Note: I do not take pets back to my own house overnight.
Equine Servies
I have a range of equine qualifications including BHS Stages, Extended Diploma in Horse Management at Distinction * and a BSc (Hons) Equestrian Psychology and Sports Science. As well as Horse Boy Method 1.
Offering holiday cover such as turnout, mucking out, grooming, general yard duties.
I also offer riding and groundwork upon assessment of the horse.
