I just came to review Alexia but I must send a shout-out to Bob the Knob who left her a 2 star review... Bob, listen hun... if you need a massage, that's one service, leaving with a smile on your face and needing pics... is a d i f f e r e n t service... Google is your friend, but seeing as that wasn't your first go-to let me offer some help - vivastreet seems to offer the service you are looking for. Now, I don't see the harm in apologizing and giving 5 stars, or removing your rubbish review entirely. Right, now that that nonsense is out of the way. I have found that seeing Alexia is no longer considered a "luxury" for me, but a necessity. Her demeanour is such that I am at ease and calm in way that I do not generally feel, even when I think I am at my most relaxed. I suffer terribly from insomnia and an overactive mind (medication barely works and I often talk under aneasthesia). Yet, within what feels like moments of laying down for a massage from Alexia, I am drifting off and honestly - yes, I have released one or many snores haha! I also have psoriasis on my scalp, which I do feel embarrassed by and therefore never indulge in head massages, and have used the same hair stylist for decades. Alexia encouraged me to trust her, and comforted me in that it was really not anything that would inhibit her ability to give me a proper head massage - when I was ready, she would happily provide one. It took me a while, but finally I relented - and just WOW. What an experience, I felt comfortable throughout, and - guess what? It seems to have reduced the severity of my psoriasis! There are fewer and smaller patches and I have fine, brand new hair growing in spots around my head! This is why I said - not a luxury - a necessity. Alexia makes the world a better place because you feel better the second you walk in, and you feel amazing when you leave! 100 stars! I have seen Jamie a few times now, mostly for sports massages prior to races and they were great! Recently he gave me a sports massage to ready my legs for last stage of a multi-day endurance race. I was having trouble with my right hip. Jamie took the time to gently warm it up and fixed me enough to complete my last race and I could not have been happier and more grateful. The hip niggle persisted and I booked another appointment. Jamie got straight on the case with the diagnosis. Through a series of tests he identified and treated the problem - all within an hour! A week later I was back running the hills. Everything was explained so clearly and I learned so much about my body. Jamie creates such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere too - it’s like catching up with an old friend. I cannot recommend him enough!
