Toby is a very pleasant and friendly man who arrived on time and listened to what I needed done and then got on with it. I described my garden as a jungle I could identify 3 plants the rest I had no idea he helped me identify a few others a lot I did not want and proceeded to clear my garden it took 2 days to clear so I could see what I actually had. I have asked him to return to do more jobs for me.
I’m disabled so need to be able to work on my garden once it’s sorted out.
I would definitely recommend Toby to everyone.

Hello, I'm Alison and I design gardens large and small. I will start working with you by providing a consultation on your site, assessing your needs and aspirations. I will then design your garden providing scale drawings, planting plans and construction drawings as necessary. I can also find a suitable landscaper for your project, assisting you through the tendering process and managing the design aspects of the landscaping build. I love plants and can source the plants for your garden and oversee their planting. I can also advise on the maintenance of your garden, providing seasonal advice. I've been running my design practice in Devon for over 20 years and have particular experience in creating gardens in coastal settings and on sloping sites. I believe gardens should be havens - for both humans and wildlife, as well as adventurous spaces for children.
Creating a garden and a gardener to go with it! I love plants and finding the right plant for the right place which suits the needs of the garden owner. As much as I enjoy finding design solutions to garden problems I love sourcing plants and planting the garden and softening any hard landscaping. There should always be more plants than paving slabs.
I've been a freelancer most of my working life. Having been a garden trainer in the education sector for a few years I decided I wanted to work for my self again and felt it was the right time. The internet presents lots of opportunities for self starters - it's a massive learning curve but can be very exciting.
I give a bespoke service where the client's needs and aspirations are my top priority. I am there to fine tune the clients hopes for their particular outdoor space from the initial concept through the build process to planting and getting the maximum enjoyment from their garden.
We are currently looking into providing an online service.
Thankfully, I've managed to keep working throughout 2020; I can consult with clients outside in their gardens and work from home when designing. I've also completed the planting of a lot of gardens this year, using a skeleton team, keeping socially distant from each other and assessing each site on an individual basis.
