Rear extension - We love to host bbq's/dinners and we were looking to up our space where we could create a welcoming atmosphere for our friends and family. We did not know where to begin so we approached Pemberley for our rear extension. Their methodical approach helped us see the potential in our space that would include an open plan space; integrating the kitchen, diner and family area. We can't be more thankful for the design and build services that they have offered and would highly recommend them. Studio - We needed the extra space to strike a balance for the family and home office. Pemberley Design has helped us achieve that through space planning and schematic layouts so we get the best bang for the buck. They quoted very realistic prices for both the design and build services. We are awaiting the planning permission now for which they helped us with professional consultancy. We are keen to get started with the renovations soon.

I knew when I met Sarah that she just “got” me. Sarah pulled my cluttered ideas together, by recommending that I set-up a Pinterest folder and put in any interior furnishings that I like, whatever the colour, and also put in colours, even if I didn’t like the décor, and share it with her. .
From this she created a mood board and learnt that my colour focus was biased towards green and coral/terracotta. My style ended up being more Boho, with a touch of Eclectic thrown in. We establish I wanted a comfortable, relaxed and calm interior, with an inside/outside blend.
The result is the best environment I have ever lived in and my interior was published in “Your home” magazine!

Carolyn is a thoughtful and collaborative designer. She has helped me with a number of projects one of which is my home office. I work from home permanently and needed a functional space that not only had to work as a home office, a gaming room (for hubby), an occasional craft room (for me) and a guest room. This was quite a brief as the room is small. With Carolyn’s help a room that had a mish mash of furniture and was essentially a general dumping ground is now a beautiful functional home office that also doubles as a gaming/craft room and with the clever use of a full size sofa bed a calming/restful guest bedroom. Do not think hiring Carolyn is just for people with big houses and big budgets. I have a relatively small coastal sixties bungalow and a very small budget for changing my interiors. I have found using Carolyn actually saves me money and more importantly my precious time. Yes I get inspiration from Instagram and home interiors magazines, and Carolyn makes that inspiration work for me, but more importantly using Carolyn I avoid making expensive mistakes. I would highly recommend Carolyn whatever the size of your project.
