My first education is phycology, I believe it helps a lot working with people. I hear my clients, their needs and requirements and this is an important step to their dream home. It is possible to do online or remote projects and I do have experience working online globally and did it during the Covid period. But personally I believe it is always better to work offline. Out of several remote projects I'll always choose an offline one as both the process and the result bring more satisfaction when a designer has a chance to visit the property, to see its potential, to meet with the client, to supervise the construction, to keep all under control, when a designer and a client go hand by hand through the whole process.
