I had to go away for a few days and asked Jane if she would look after Sophie, my Cocker-Poo. She agreed and I left the food and lead plus instructions about the twice daily walk routine and bed and food times. Sophie was an angel Jane said on my return, she had taken photos of her walks and her feeding as well as her sleeping arrangements a chair in her living room!
I am passionate about dogs, having owned a dog/s all my life. I am owned now by a Giant Schnauzer Lottie, Boo a labradoodle, Dixie a Giant Schnoodle and Riva a Standard Poodle. From leaving college I worked in a bank for 23 years. I then went into general office work, followed by working in care. Most recently during the pandemic I have been working as a care co-ordinator but I am now in a position to follow my passion.

Having taken our dog Jess on holiday with us last year I decided I was no longer comfortable leaving her in kennels while we went ski-ing this year. Having been let down by another boarder at relatively short notice, I found Gaye on Facebook and felt it was meant to be. Gaye came to meet Jess at our home and Jess loved her straight away. It was so much nicer being away knowing that she was in a comfy home and having cuddles. This time I felt the first few days of sulking when we came home was not because we had left her but because we had taken her away from her new playmates We will definitely be using GB Dog Walking and Pet Care Services again

I have a background in canine welfare and rescue, with many years of experience working with dogs. I am a qualified behaviour practitioner, working with owners to overcome a wide range of training and behavioural issues. My work focuses on resolving emotional issues and promoting calmness, then addressing the behavioural problems. I support owners to build confidence, develop good leadership, mutual respect, an understanding of canine communication and the skills required to build strong bonds with their dogs.
Hi, Welcome to my profile! I am currently doing a second master's degree at Hartpury University to become a veterinary physiotherapy. Being a student means I got some free time on my hands and a very flexible schedule. I moved to Malvern Worcester in September. Sadly, I had to leave behind my lovely dog and two cats. To fill this void I would love to help you by walking your dog(s) or care for your animal(s) whenever you can't.

I was born into a family of animal lovers and brought up in my auntie's rescue, surrounded by every animal I could imagine. Over the years growing up I have been involved in hand rearing puppies/kittens/lambs and even a squirrel once, walking and training rescue dogs, fostering cats and dogs alongside owning my own dogs, cats and ponies. My passion for rescue animals drove me further into exploring different training methods and the psychology behind the different species, I wanted to gain more understanding so I could comfort them when they looked so totally baffled by the new situation they had found theirselves in and reacted out of fear and anxiety.

I attended Lou's Maths Surgery for 2 years in Solihull and my grade went from a D to a B. The lessons were excellent. Lou provides all resources, paper, pens, past paper questions and refreshments and she makes the learning fun and interesting. She was available before the exams for extra web chats and didn't charge for those. She is a brilliant teacher who really knows what she is doing and I couldn't have done it without her

Amanda was absolutely brilliant. With us being locked inside for 2 weeks our poor dog couldn’t get out for a walk. At short notice, Amanda fitted us in and took Hollie the same day and organised a schedule to ensure she is walked everyday without fail. Thank you very much and thanks for your understanding with regards to what seems to be so antisocial with social distancing.
How much does a Dog Walker cost?
The price of hiring a dog walker will depend on the area of the UK in which you live, with prices typically higher in the South of England and particularly in London. The cost of hiring a dog walker will often be lower in the North of England and in Scotland and Wales.
What should I look for in a Dog Walker?
The most important thing when you’re hiring a dog walker is that both you and your dog trust them. You should also ensure that your dog walker has public liability insurance that covers them in case of damage, accident or loss. The best way to find a reliable and trustworthy dog walker is by reading reviews of previous clients. When you hire a dog walker through Bark, you can browse the profiles of dog walkers in your local area and read honest reviews from genuine customers.
How many dogs can a Dog Walker walk at once?
It is recommended that a dog walker should walk a maximum of four dogs at a time, to enable them to maintain good control of each dog. Most dog walkers will give you the option of having your dog walked alone or with other dogs. Walking with other dogs will help your dog to develop valuable social skills. However, if your dog is reactive, you may prefer for them to be walked alone.
