What do you love most about your job?

Being with a variety of animals, providing loads of love, cuddles, exercise and whatever else they need from me when their owners can't be there for whatever reason.

What inspired you to start your own business?

After working in a corporate environment for many years I really wanted to find a way to work with animals which I am so passionate about. Having had cats for many years and now having two Golden Retrievers and one cat it spurred me on to take the plunge and start my own business. I am dedicated to providing the pets' "humans" with exceptional customer care and their pets with undivided attention when they are with me.

Why should our clients choose you?

I have an absolute genuine love and passion for animals and they will have exceptional love and care when they are with me. I am reliable, responsible, professional, police checked, fully insured, trained in canine first aid and have a City & Guilds in the Technical Competence of Dog Walking. All the services provided are tailored to the clients' individual needs.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

Myself and my team have all completed the Covid-19 – Disease Control for Pet Professionals course with the Pet Industry Federation.
We are following all Defra, CSFG and PIF guidance but please also see the link to my website for the step we are taking to protect our customers and ourselves https://www.forourloveofpets.co.uk/covid/

The price of hiring a dog walker will depend on the area of the UK in which you live, with prices typically higher in the South of England and particularly in London. The cost of hiring a dog walker will often be lower in the North of England and in Scotland and Wales.

The most important thing when you’re hiring a dog walker is that both you and your dog trust them. You should also ensure that your dog walker has public liability insurance that covers them in case of damage, accident or loss. The best way to find a reliable and trustworthy dog walker is by reading reviews of previous clients. When you hire a dog walker through Bark, you can browse the profiles of dog walkers in your local area and read honest reviews from genuine customers.

It is recommended that a dog walker should walk a maximum of four dogs at a time, to enable them to maintain good control of each dog. Most dog walkers will give you the option of having your dog walked alone or with other dogs. Walking with other dogs will help your dog to develop valuable social skills. However, if your dog is reactive, you may prefer for them to be walked alone.
