Bailey (9 month old cockerpoo) and I have only just started working with Sian and I cannot praise her working methods highly enough. She has given me so much confidence in my ability to train my dog and a whole array of tips to ensure each session is fun for Bailey and me. Our walks are so much better already and the whole family enjoy training with Bailey in the house to reinforce what Sian teaches us. Sian is a fantastic dog sitter with a totally custom approach to your needs. She regularly sends me messages about how goofy ziva has been that day and let’s me know what time she’s been fed. What do you love most about your job?
I am passionate about animals and their welfare, so getting to spend time with animals and also be outdoors is an amazing privilege! I also offer dog training, and it is so rewarding seeing an improvement in a dog's behaviour and dog and owner making real progress together.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My love of animals, my years of experience working with them, and the flexibility of being my own boss!
Why should our clients choose you?
I am fully insured and have a BSc (Hons) in Applied Animal Behaviour and Training. I have spent over a decade working within the animal care industry in kennels, pet shops (both caring for livestock and providing advice), micro-chipping and as a zookeeper. I have also owned a variety of pets (dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, rodents, fish) for my entire life. You won't find anyone more dedicated to animal welfare who also has the range of experience and qualifications to back it up!
Stay and Play daily visit
An hour long visit to your pet's home where I will feed them, play with time or spend time with them however you want me to! I will also clean up after them. £8.50
Individual dog walk
An hour-long walk, on or off-lead depending on your preference. Your dog will not be walked with a large group of other dogs meaning I can give him the time and attention he deserves! Dogs are walked in a range of locations, mostly at Nature Reserves and Public Land such as Burlish Top or the Rifle Range. If you own multiple dogs I can walk them together or individually. Price per walk £13 - special rates available for block bookings and over 60's
Training session
One-to-one training and advice for dog and owner, using positive methods only (no punishment / aversives) usually 30-45 mins dependent on the dogs' needs. I can help improve your dog's manners and assist with modifying undesirable behaviours.
