Karen is great with my two Labradoodles. She is very friendly, professional and amazing with the dogs! I took my youngest pup (7 months) who is not happy being by or in water. She gave him a puppy groom and he was so chilled and content by the time I collected him, which is great news! I was really happy with the cut & shape on dog number 2 also! If I could give Karen at The Grooming Shack 6 stars I would! She has the patience of a saint and her love for dogs is very obvious. I have a cockapoo called Wilfie who hates being groomed and as a result got very matted. Feeling very guilty and upset, I turned up on Karen's doorstep asking her to work miracles and she did! After 2 sessions, in her very capable hands, Wilfie looks lush again. He's had a few bad experiences at groomers but Karen makes him feel relaxed and very loved! What do you love most about your job?
I love making both the dog and the owner happy. To see the smile on the owners face when they pick their fur baby up is brilliant. Being able to cuddle the dogs and see them smile and enjoy their pamper is soooo rewarding.
Why should our clients choose you?
I offer restraint free grooming and only have 1 dog in at a time. This enables me to give that dog 100% of my attention and helps anxious dogs feel more comfortable.
