I have worked for 21 years as a Police officer within the communities of North as Staffordshire and retired early just over 5 years ago. As a youngster I grew up with dogs as family pets and have also owned my own. My dream since retirement has been to combine my love of same with my love for the outdoors. Since retiring, I have volunteered as a puppy socialiser for Hearing Dogs For Deaf People and have also fostered a Springer Spaniel for Spaniel Assist Rescue and Rehoming.

Hey there, I'm Katherine! Growing up surrounded by animals, I feel more like a sleepy St Bernard than a human! With half a lifetime of experience with a range of animals, our furry pawed friends still remain my fave! I'm not afraid to get down with the dogs, whether it's a muddy walk or just a roll around in the garden. I have a BA Degree in Fine Art, so I enjoy thinking out of the box and love to find creative new methods suited to each situation I find myself in.
