I have worked for 21 years as a Police officer within the communities of North as Staffordshire and retired early just over 5 years ago. As a youngster I grew up with dogs as family pets and have also owned my own. My dream since retirement has been to combine my love of same with my love for the outdoors.

I have a pattadale terrier which has been Reactive on lead when walking close to home but Amanda has got him walking on a training lead and he is loving his walks with other dogs and going to different places. George gets his full hour and is in safe hands . I couldn't be happier with the video updates of where he went as well as intracting with the pack and I would definitely recommend. More...

We have 2 rescue dogs. Lexie is particularly reactive and had difficulty accepting anyone.
Amanda has fantastic skills and knows how to gain a stressed dog’s trust.
Both my dogs love their walks. They recognise the van before it’s even on our street and they already go in super zoomy mode knowing they are due for the walk. Very grateful to have found Amanda. Would wholeheartedly recommend her.

Pawsome walks came to visit my little lady and she took to Amanda straight away. Gets so excited when she is collected and always worn out upon her return. She mixes well with the other dogs she is walked with. Amanda takes them to explore lots of open spaces and even sends videos of the dogs having fun together. Pawsome walks were very helpful when I was looking for someone to walk my dog. Although I did not go a head and use them due to me changing my mind they were very accommodating and reasonably priced.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the bond that grows with the dogs I walk, they get so excited when they see me (even more so when my 10year old daughter is with me?)... I love the outdoors & love dogs so this is my dream 'job.'
What inspired you to start your own business?
Since retiring early I have volunteered for the aforementioned dog charities. In 2019 I started walking some friends and friends of dogs on an adhoc basis. I then commenced working on a self employed basis for another dog walking company. I realised recently that I wanted to provide an enhanced quality of service to clients so I ceased working on behalf of the other company and invested in my own business.. It's the best decision that I have made in recent years.
Why should our clients choose you?
A personal and friendly service from your door. I don't just stand in a field and throw a ball- I walk with your best friend. I also provide WhatsApp videos/pictures direct to you in order to reassure you that your dog is safe and happy.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
For new customers I require to carry out a meet and greet with yourself and your dog. I prefer to do this outside, however, if indoors I wear a face mask and socially distance. I use anti bacterial wipes on door handles etc and prefer to utilise my own leads where possible.

I am fully insured for all pet services.
I can provide dog sitting at the clients home address occasionally.
Small pet visits for feeding.
