On Sat 22 July, Latin Soul joined Islington Council to bring the community a Latin based dance session for the Go Islington Festival.
During the whole session and despite being invited to join, there was a gentleman who just would not participate and only wanted to watch from afar. Maybe he didn't want to be put in the spotlight or out of his comfort zone?
As time goes by and the gent is still watching from afar I decided to bring different music genres as part of the dance entertainment... this is where his body language changed completely.
Heard of the expression... you've gotta seize the moment? Well, as everyone was rocking their own moves in our fun dance battle... I jumped out of the circle and pulled the gent in to the middle... WOW this man can move!!!
This caribbean influenced Merengue not only had the crowd dancing, clapping, cheering and having tons of fun but made this man come out of his shell!

Ione was great, lively, friendly a great laugh. I felt as though I had known her for ever. The party attendees really enjoyed her, she had them in stitches. Ione was only with us for an hour which really isn't long enough as she is really great in creating the right kind of party atmosphere, next time I will definitely invite her for longer - money well spent thank you Ione

Ione is absolutely phenomenal. From the moment she walked in, she brought the most beautiful, uplifting energy that transformed the entire atmosphere. She has a natural ability to light up a room; lively, warm, engaging and full of genuine enthusiasm. She hosted my mum’s 70th birthday dinner beautifully, guiding the activities with charm and ease and keeping every guest involved without ever making anything feel forced. Her presence elevated the event and truly made the day special. My mum felt celebrated, relaxed and deeply appreciated; largely because of how wonderfully Ione managed everything. Her professionalism, creativity and sheer charisma are unmatched. I couldn’t have asked for a better hostess. She turned a lovely event into something unforgettable. I highly, highly recommend her. She was absolutely amazing! The perfect mix of comedy and light-hearted roasting — everyone at the birthday party was crying with laughter. Professional, engaging, and genuinely hilarious. She made the night unforgettable. Highly recommend!
