I practice Effective Psychotherapy which is a solution focused, client - centred approach to emotional growth and wellbeing. Incorporating elements of psychoanalysis, CBT and coaching, I can help you deal with a wide variety of issues; from inability to make decisions or feeling unattractive, through anxiety or depression to relationship issues. I am a non -practising registered midwife with experience in counselling with anxieties and depression related to childbirth, including traumatic birth experiences. I am also a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with experience in counselling for all life related events, anxieties and depression and relationship difficulties. Basically I use a Person Centred Approach to Counselling with use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy if necessary and an integrated approach to using other relevant therapies if appropriate.

New to Bark, I am an experienced child (12 years and over) and adult counsellor and psychotherapist in Stratford Upon Avon and online. Most recently, I have set up a small, busy private practice. Creating a welcoming and accepting atmosphere is a cornerstone of my practice. I am dedicated to ensuring your comfort, encouragement, and empowerment throughout our therapeutic journey.

I specialise in helping people that are depressed and have felt suicidal or have suffered trauma or abuse in the past. I also provode a safe confidential space for couples to talk and help resolve their problems too.

I’m here to listen to you and identify any negative patterns of thoughts, emotions or feelings you may have. We’ll work together in a relaxed, comfortable, confidential environment to help you reach your goals and objectives.

Having been through a number of serious traumas in my life I have genuine experience of how much Solution Focused Hypnotherapy helps in moving the client forward, and improving resilience. I help clients build a tool kit that will serve them for the rest of their lives, helping them cope better, and be the best version of themselves.
