I bless the day I met Yves, he has been a lifeline for me where my garden is concerned. I have reached the age where even simple outdoor tasks have become difficult. Yves is reliable, punctual and agreeable to work with. He can turn his hand to tasks other than gardening. For me he has pruned, weeded, mowed, edged, planted, all the normal gardening tasks. He has a good knowledge of plants, wild and cultivated. His work for me has included cleaning and repairing gutters and painting/preserving outbuildings. I look forward to his visits and company. We have worked with Yves twice; firstly to do a quick revamp of the garden prior to putting our property on the market and I am sure the new kerb appeal he bought to the property helped us sell it in 4 days and over the asking price!
The second project at our new house was a blank canvas. There wasn’t so much as a daffodil in our new garden. He presented several ideas, curved paths, colour combinations, and the garden looks fabulous and is just coming into bloom.

What do you love most about your job?
I love the satisfaction of turning an neglected outdoor space into a beautiful garden. I just love looking at it.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was an amateur gardener for a few years. I just decided to do what I love best.
Why should our clients choose you?
Compared to other gardeners, I probably have a strong sense of aesthetics. I'm passionate about focussing on the architecture of a garden, rather than plants or flowers. They come later. My favourite customers are those that care as much as I do about how their garden looks.

Gardening online ? Not yet. Hopefully never. I enjoy being outdoors.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Well I'm vaccinated and I hardly ever go indoors, so the risks are non-existent.

Garden design and landscaping
I provide a series of services designed to help you build your dream garden
Garden design : I can listen to your ideas, survey the site and produce scaled drawings of costed projects, including patios, paths, gates, borders, ornamental plants, trees, etc.
Landscaping services: Once agreed, I can then build your garden using standard landscaping techniques and equipment.
My emphasis will be on aesthetics. I enjoy building gardens that complement the house they are attached to, adding to the space a rustic feel that gives the impression the garden has been there for decades, rather than that dreadful "just landscaped" look, where everything is perfectly aligned. And cold. And soul less.
