What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about genealogy is the thrill of uncovering hidden stories. Every family has a mystery or a forgotten ancestor waiting to be found, and helping people reconnect with their roots - sometimes after generations - is incredibly rewarding.
I’ve always loved solving puzzles, and genealogy is one of the most intricate ones out there. Piecing together someone’s history from scattered clues across time feels like detective work - and there’s nothing quite like the ‘aha’ moment when everything falls into place.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I’d been researching my own family tree for years and was completely hooked. The more I helped friends and relatives with their ancestry, the more I realised there was a real demand for this work - and I loved doing it. Starting my own genealogy business felt like the natural next step: a way to turn my passion into a profession and help others uncover their roots

Not applicable in this line of work, but anybody who has concerns can just operate remotely. That is 95% of what people do anyway.
