About

At Your Care, we believe care should feel personal, not clinical.
We’re a family-run introductory agency based in Hanham, proudly supporting local families since 2014.

Founded by Tina and now run together with her daughter Claire, Your Care was created to change the way people experience support at home, replacing rushed, impersonal visits with thoughtful, consistent care built around each individual.

We decided to take my grandad along to yesterdays session which is run weekly from 10am to 2pm. This included teas, coffees, biscuits, a lunch that consisted of soup, sandwich and rice pudding (my grandads favourite)! When we arrived the team were ever so friendly and I hadn’t realised that they had linked in with progressive sports to provide the activities! My grandad instantly settled into a chair and was happy chatting away to others who were there. To see his face with a massive smile when I left him and picked him up just showed me that he had a brilliant time and for him to say for at least an hour after leaving he wants to go back again shows how much of a good impact this group has on those with dementia. We have now signed my grandad up for the next 4 weeks but they are also very flexible on if your loved one goes weekly or every other week. Thank you girls for your hard work and giving us carers the break we all desperately need. Xx More...

Professional , caring , took time to explain care options to me and then came to meet my mum who needed some help with dressing etc due to multi illnesses . They are very supportive and friendly too . I love the idea of 2 hour visits as a minimum as it gave mum time to be herself and not be rushed. Mum got on well with all 3 carers that spent time with her and enabled her to stay home . She had some fun times : pedicures, foot soaks , chats plus a visit to a local garden centre. Unfortunately a broken hip means an extended stay in hospital and rehabilitation ,so will have to reassess her care needs. I wholeheartedly recommend using this company if you need some help More...

My mum has received exceptional support from the Your Care team for the past two and a half years. The office team is not only professional and efficient but also a pleasure to work with, always providing clear and prompt communication. They have an in-depth understanding of dementia and its challenges, and when my mum’s care needs evolve, they respond swiftly and effectively, ensuring she receives the extra support she needs without delay. The caregivers are patient, attentive, and consistently go the extra mile to connect with her, making a tangible difference in her well-being. Thanks to their care, our family has peace of mind knowing mum is in capable hands. More...

Q&As

It’s the feeling of knowing we’ve made someone’s day a little brighter. Whether that’s helping someone with dementia find joy in a small moment or giving a family peace of mind, the reward comes from knowing what we do genuinely makes a difference. Every smile, every story, every thank you keeps us doing what we love.

Tina started Your Care in 2014 after years of seeing how impersonal the traditional care system had become. She wanted to build something more thoughtful, a service that put people first and treated clients as family, not as numbers. Together with her daughter Claire, she has created a small, family-run business that truly listens, adapts and supports every person as an individual.

Because we care in the same way you do.
Your Care is a family-run introductory agency built on trust, kindness and genuine connection. Every Personal Assistant on our register is handpicked, fully vetted and has passed our ‘Mum Test’ – if we would not trust them to care for our own loved ones, they will not be part of our team.

All our PAs are self-employed, choosing when they work and who they support. That means families are matched with carers who genuinely want to be there, building lasting, happy partnerships that bring consistency and peace of mind.

We also carry out full vetting and ongoing compliance checks including interviews, references, DBS, insurance and HMRC registration, so you can be confident your loved one is in safe, capable hands.

Our services are designed to be personal and hands-on, so most of our support is delivered face to face. However, we are always happy to offer phone or video check-ins for families who need advice, reassurance or updates on their loved one’s wellbeing.

The safety of our clients and PAs has always been our top priority. We follow the latest government and public health guidance, ensure all PAs have access to PPE and infection control training, and maintain open communication with families about any health concerns. Our small, consistent care teams also mean fewer people visiting each home, keeping everyone safer.
