I contacted West Hill to take care of the garden and lawns at my mother's property, who suffers from Alzheimer's. The garden and lawns had fallen into wilderness. They put a plan in place to do all of the work and then a regular lawn cutting schedule and annual "cleanup". They did all of this with great sensitivity, and were very caring to my mother whenever they met her. The work was done well, the price was fair and the company was quick to respond to all my requests. The important thing to note, is that all this was organised by telephone and email, as I live abroad. Updates and photos were sent to me by family and friends who visit my mother regularly, and all were pleased with the results of the work done by Westhill. I can confidently recommend them. More...

An amazing transformation to our garden! From start to finish, over a two week period of rain and heat, the crew - comprised of Nathan, Casper, and Matt - were hard working, very professional, and very nice. The space went from being a muddy gravel pit of various grades to a lovely new patio with limestone pavers, an additional paved patio for a fire pit, telescope platform, construction of borders and seating, terribly heavy stone fountain placement, and sod installation. WHGS returfed an old lawn that was in need of attention since a weeping ash had been taken down; they also did some fencing work for us. The two men that completed the work were incredibly hardworking (in poor weather conditions), efficient and very friendly -- a credit to their company. I took over a 60 ft long plot 2 years ago that was upward sloping and in a bad state. Initially I employed a landscaping firm who filled 3 lorries to scoop out a patio and created terraces on 3 different levels. To make progress, I needed the help of experienced and strong gardeners and I was lucky to find West Hill from Westbury Sub Mendip. They heroically set aside several days each week over 2 very cold winter months to hand dig the entire plot twice, unearthed a mountain of stones, some the size of rugby balls. They cleared the plot, levelled and found solutions for muddy clay soil, odd slopes and hard-scaping. When alternative services are required, West Hill have tried and tested contacts. What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have strict Covid-19 policies in place to protect both our customers and staff members. We pride ourselves on meeting all of the government guidelines. We understand the some of our customers don't feel safe or are not able to socially interact at the recommended 2m distance rule, due to shielding, that why we have introduced a "client portal" where all feedback and communications for your gardener can be used.
