I have really enjoyed working with WDC Creative for the past two years. Helen and her team always go above and beyond to help us to achieve our visions. They have immersed themselves in our brand and values and always take the time to discuss design options, suggest solutions and improvements and ensure that the brief is fully understood. We can always rely on WDC to deliver great results while adhering to our time frame and budget. We have never been disappointed. Thank you! More...

If you are looking to work with a design company that can offer solutions to your Creative problems then I wouldlook no further!
Jason and his team have worked closely with me on several projects and most recently to deliver the new P&O ship, the Pioneer.
Our objective was to create a signage package that was as innovative as the new ships themselves and to enhance the customer experience.
WDC has achieved this, using both physical and digital content, from the car deck, stairwells, and all the passenger areas.
Jason and his team spent quality time to understand the design challenge and then work with key stakeholders at every stage to bring that design to life.
They are always looking for ways to improve and have challenged me throughout the process to ensure that we have considered every option, whilst also taking into consideration time and budget.
The results really do speak for themselves – thank you

What makes a great website?
It's vital to start by considering the functionality you want and then plan out a clear user journey for visitors to your site so that they can easily find what they are looking for. The best websites are simple in terms of design so that the user can navigate the content quickly. We then need to layer on your branding to create a website which attracts and engages your target market, but which is also distinctive for your brand.
Success will come from a clear brief (think about what kind of site you want to end up with before you start) and having open and regular communication with your chosen web design partner.
You also need to consider how to keep your website up to date once it has launched - it's important that the content regularly changes in order to keep customers interested. You can choose to do this yourself if you have the skills, or you can ask your web design partner to provide an update service.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What business challenge or problem are you looking for help with? (eg. is it launching a new brand, promoting an existing business, etc)
How do you think design can help?
Have you worked with designers before? If so, what kind of support have they provided?
What timescales are you working to?
What is your budget?
Do you see this as design support which is a one-off or are you looking for a longer term relationship if things go well?
Who are your competitors?
Describe your creative process.
We generally use a 5-stage approach and adapt it depending on the type of project:
1. Understand - we ask questions, understand the brief and challenge it if necessary
2. Create - using the output from Stage 1 we start to work up initial concepts and discuss them with the client
3. Develop - we take the preferred option(s) and refine until we get the approved design
4. Deliver - we bring to life the approved design according to the brief - whether building a website, acting as design managers on-site of a construction project, or creating print-ready artwork for marketing brochures
5. Review and ongoing support
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
A brief - as much information as possible about the end result you're looking for so that we have the best chance of meeting your expectations.
Budget - realistic for the amount of work required.
Timescales - realistic about how long things are likely to take.
Commitment - written confirmation that our quote has been accepted and agreement about the payment terms.
What do you love most about your job?
No two projects are the same! We see ourselves as Creative Problem Solvers for our clients - aiming to always use our experience to add value and find the best way to deal with a design challenge. So having happy clients and seeing them come back to brief us on the next project gives us all a real buzz.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The desire to take on a wide range of different design projects where we could provide an excellent standard of service for a fair price. We are proactive and responsive at the same time which means we think ahead to help our clients anticipate potential issues, whilst quickly dealing with requests as they arise.
Why should our clients choose you?
We have been successfully providing design services to a wide range of clients for over 20 years. This experience means we can confidently call ourselves Creative Problem Solvers and love a design challenge. We are also transparent about what we do to ensure we deliver on time and on budget.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
We work all over the world with clients and so have systems in place to allow us to work remotely. We can take an initial brief over a Video call (eg. Teams, Zoom) and then provide updates and communications using email or other online messaging systems.
All our design work is undertaken using sophisticated software and the final creative files are supplied in secure digital formats.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Most of our work is done remotely which avoids face to face meetings (although we can meet physically where that is feasible / required).
Staff are asked to take Covid-19 tests if they are unwell and to stay away from the design studio if they are potentially contagious.
Interior Design
Each client benefits from our 20+ years experience in retail design, bar and restaurant design and the design of leisure environments such as hotels or gyms.
We can start from a blank sheet of paper, or can work from existing plans to bring your ideas to life through sketches, renders, 3D visualisations and CGI fly-throughs.
We always work collaboratively and provide guidance about how to ensure the final design is environmentally responsible.
Website Design
We design and build websites in-house to suit a range of requirements and budgets - from a simple brochure site to complex digital portals. At every stage we give you clarity about costs, timescales and can build a content management system so that you can update your site in the future, or we can handle updates for you if you prefer.
Graphic Design
We have over 20 years' experience of designing logos, branding, brochures and other marketing materials to support a wide range of businesses and organisations. We listen to your needs and then create options which we then refine until you are happy with the end result.
Everything we do is delivered to a high quality, to agreed budget and within agreed timescales.
Video / Animation
Our experienced videographer and motion graphics team are able to create video and digital animations to address any brief. For example, shooting original video and then editing this together with impactful motion graphics. Or creating animated content to support your brand communications.
