As the franchise owner of Walfinch Waltham Forest, what I love most is knowing that we're helping people live with dignity, comfort, and independence in their own homes. It's incredibly fulfilling to build a team of compassionate carers who genuinely care about their clients. I also enjoy working closely with families—offering reassurance and peace of mind during what can be an emotional and uncertain time. What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We’ve implemented strict safety protocols to protect both clients and carers. This includes full use of PPE (masks, gloves, aprons), regular testing, infection control training, and daily symptom checks for staff. Our carers follow rigorous hygiene practices and are trained to spot early signs of illness. We also adapted our services to reduce unnecessary contact—offering remote care reviews when needed and supporting families with safe visitation guidance. The wellbeing of our clients is always our top priority, and we continue to follow the latest NHS and Public Health England guidelines.
