The clients I care for and the relationships I’ve built has really been an amazing experience. I absolutely love working for visiting angels! with the clients you get a minimum of a 1 hour call which is so different than most care companies that want you to get a million tasks done in 30 minutes or less, but here at visiting angels you get to complete your tasks without rushing around and then actually sit down and talk with your clients / spend time getting to know more in depth about them which always means the world to them to have that extra company. Applied for a job here at visiting angels east Manchester, management are absolutely amazing, the type of management you need for when you have any problems. This place is a cosy and friendly environment, as they are very care eccentric, they have a kitchen area for you to come relax in between shifts, stocked up with hot or cold drinks and snacks, and even a place to just come and study. I did my training last month with this company with such an amazing team, management are always around to help with any questions or if you need any advice. Not only do they give proper professional training!!! They also give you the opportunity to study to move up in your career, I’m so happy I’ve given visiting angels a chance. I just have one wish, that visiting angels came to Oldham a long time ago. They are very helpful towards working mums (one myself) with helpful timing available, flexible shift. I’ve worked for Visiting Angels since Feb 18 and l personally am extremely happy to be part of their team. Great employee benefits including extremely fair hourly rate with regular pay increases, my car was recently given a full valet and I won a spa voucher at Tankersley Manor for winning care giver of the month. You are paid whilst completing a comprehensive training programme and office and management are professional yet approachable, they have literally bent over backwards to fit work round me and the hours I am able to do as a single parent, and have promptly dealt with any issues raised. I have a lovely client base that is growing and l regularly receive good feedback from my clients via my manager, who is keen to let me know when I’m doing a good job which is something I think is missing in a lot of work places. As well as 20 days holiday a year, you are paid for travel time between client visits and a generous mileage allowance. There are other perks, such as servicing your vehicle annually and they are constantly monitoring and looking for ways to incentivise staff and show you their appreciation. If you are looking to start a career in or are currently working in the care sector and thinking of changing your employer for one that actually cares about you as much as their clients then I couldn’t give them a higher recommendation.
