I’ve been self employed 2 years but have helped keep business premises clean for the past 15 years.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
Yes and they are all pet and environmentally friendly products. However, if a specific cleaning product is requested to be used I ask to be advised in advance.
What do you love most about your job?
I love cleaning and gardening so it gives me immense pleasure and satisfaction to be able to clean for others knowing I have given my clients time to spend with their loved ones as time with family is so precious.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to be my own boss who was in control of what hours I work and when I start work without having to answer to anyone.

No, fortunately for me cleaning, cutting grass, edging and weeding cannot be carried out online or remotely.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I use hand sanitiser before touching handles from the outside, I wear gloves for cleaning and wear a mask if clients are vulnerable and carry out a weekly test.
