What do you love most about your job?
Caring jobs are incredibly rewarding, and I find deep fulfillment in knowing that my work has a meaningful impact on others. There’s something uniquely satisfying about being able to help people—whether it’s providing physical care, offering emotional support, or simply being there when someone needs a listening ear.
One of the biggest reasons I love caring jobs is the strong sense of connection I get from interacting with the people I care for. It's not just about performing tasks or fulfilling duties; it's about building relationships. I enjoy getting to know the people I care for on a personal level, understanding their needs, and being able to provide tailored care that truly makes a difference in their lives. Furthermore, I enjoy the challenge that comes with caring jobs. They can be demanding, requiring patience, empathy, and flexibility, but that’s part of what makes the job so interesting. Each day is different, and I find satisfaction in adapting to new situations, solving problems, and continuously learning how to be more effective in what I do.
Ultimately, caring jobs allow me to make a real difference in the world, and for me, there’s no greater reward than that.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Beginning my career as a personal carer in a residential home for the elderly, my unwavering commitment and dedication quickly became apparent. My career advanced to the position of Registered Manager at a care home accredited by the Care Quality Commission, where I was responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the facility. My compassion resonated not only with services users but also with the families of those I served. I pursued training to become a Registered Adult Nurse and earned a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Adult Nursing. It was during this pivotal period that the concept for TSM Care began to take shape. I envisioned a company that would offer well-trained staff committed to upholding dignity, respect, personal choice, and independence.
