All the staff are calm, friendly and straight forward. I needed care for 65 year old and at the time an 89 year old. The now 90 year old no longer requires support but the 65 year old does.
The 65 year old - S - lacked confidence, had an inability to hold a conversation, very poor balance as well as difficulty with washing and dressing.
Before having the daily support if I asked her - 'How are you today S ?' she would answer 'fine' and that was it.
Now the same question gets a response of
' I'm quite good, thank you. How are you?'
She has also been helped with doing simple large piece puzzles and is feeling very happy when she manages to complete them. She can also play simple board games as well, rather than just sitting in front of a TV.
Her confidence has really improved and now she sits up straight rather than slumped.
All these improvements are due to the care and positive support given to her from the carers. Who also ensure she practices using a walker.
From the initial meeting to the day to day support we have been really impressed.
The Office staff are brilliant at passing information or developments to the carers. the feed back from the Carers is also useful to me.
EVERY one of the carers is calm, very positive and cheerful.
