When digging out the front garden, he damaged the neighbour's wall. He only contacted me after he finished digging. My neighbour was not happy with this and told me to replace the wall as it had cracks and had became unstable. When I relayed this information to Tom, he insisted it was not his fault but the neighbours fault because he built the wall without a foundation. However, before he began digging the wall was completely fine.

Tom and the team did finish my drive to a good standard. However, they have left the neighbours wall cracked and unstable. The neighbour has now told me to get my wall replaced which Tom is charging £1400 for despite him breaking it in the first place.

I requested Tom to reduce his price as I now had to get the wall built again. Tom refused.
I would have expected Tom to own up to the mistake and replace the wall as it was damaged by his team of builders. Overall, I was a bit naive in choosing to use this company as other people have previously left similar reviews. I would recommend avoiding this company as they do not take accountability for their mistakes.

EDIT:
After a lot of back and forth communication with Toms dad they finally came out to reposition the wall - I was told this would fix the issue. What they have done is add extra cement to the sides and left it looking extremely poor aesthetically.

My neighbour has now returned from his holidays and has just informed me the plinth on the wall has been damaged along with his doorstep having spray paint on it. All of this was not there before, and has been caused by a lack of care and professionalism by Tom and his team. I messaged both Tom and his dad and have given them ample time and opportunities to resolve the above but have yet to receive a reply. More...

Used Tom and the lads to extend one patio and stairs and redo two other patios. They did the job to a high standard, despite bad weather and tidied up well at the end of the job. Friendly, polite, nothing too much trouble and they even had a loo in the van so didn’t have to come in the house at all which worked well with social distancing!
