What do you love most about your job?
To make a difference, by ensuring that people are as safe from fire as possible, Having served in the London Fire Brigade for 12 years, and meeting people from all walks of life. Seeing how different buildings behave in fire has led me down this path.
Providing fire safety advice to residents, building owners and developers allows me to put my thoughts and knowledge of the regulations forward ensuring compliance, and recommending remedial course of actions to put things right when they are wrong.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always liked the idea of having my own business and having worked in a fire consultancy, I have built up a client base to help me establish myself as the friendly fire safety company who will go beyond to help people be as safe as possible.
Why should our clients choose you?
Total Fire Solution is a new company as is keen to show that we are the company to go to for all your fire safety needs. Whether it be FRA, fire door surveys, fire stopping or compartmentation surveys we can provide the service, a small company that has that prides itself on being helpful and providing the right advice.
I work with bigger clients to provide the fire engineering solutions, this will grow as the company grows.

Total Fire Solution provides on site services, this allows us to gather the correct information and allows us to see the building as a whole.
Some services can be provided online but ideally a site visit would be the preferred option.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Total Fire Solution will follow all relevant guidelines set by health officials and the governments, as and when required.
Fire risk assessments type 1-4
Accredited to carry out Fire risk assessments in both commercial and domestic blocks of flats. Total Fire Solutions can carry out type 1-4 intrusive and non-intrusive inspections of your property.
Our FRAs are comprehensive documents that follows the PAS 79 methodology to ensure the buildings risks are identified, our in house software allows us to take photos of key areas and record any actions and controls currently in place.

Fire door surveys
Total Fire Solution can provide bespoke fire door surveys for both domestic and commercial, these survey are an important factor when determining the building safety and risk profiling.
We use dedicated software to map and QR code the doors inspected. For buildings over 18m we can design and build a fire door register with QR technology to help keep track of the regular inspections that are required.

Fire stopping and compartmentation surveys
Fire stopping and compartmentation is a key aspects of a buildings passive fire protection. Total Fire Solution can help by carrying out both visual and intrusive surveys to establish the fire resistance of a material or wall system.
Our in house software allows us to pin point the location and QR code the area highlighted and a remedial plan put into place. We work with our clients to ensure the work is completed and in accordance with current fire regulations.
