Services

Whether you’re a beginner exploring the drums for the first time or an advanced player looking to refine your craft, my lessons are designed to meet you where you are and help you grow as a musician.

For Beginners:
We’ll focus on the essentials—groove, timing, and technique—while ensuring you build confidence and enjoy every step of the process.

For Advanced & Professional Players:
We’ll move beyond just learning licks and patterns, focusing on how to apply them musically and creatively. While licks can be useful, relying on them without understanding the bigger picture can limit your creativity and self-expression. Instead, we’ll explore improvisation, expand your musical vocabulary, and develop concepts that help you connect more deeply with the music.

For Exam Preparation:
If you’re working towards graded exams, I’ll guide you through a clear and structured plan to achieve your goals with confidence and precision.

What You Can Expect:
In our first session, I’ll assess your current playing and identify the areas that will make the biggest impact. My aim is to help you not only improve technically but also connect emotionally with the drums—whether that’s mastering improvisation, perfecting your timing, or simply finding joy in the music.

MY BACKGROUND

I studied with the legendary Bob Armstrong, one of the most influential drum teachers in the UK. I was also one of the first teachers at Drum Tech in London, working alongside its founder, Francis Seriau. My professional experience includes being the original drummer for the West End musical Five Guys Named Moe.

With years of professional performance and teaching experience, I’m here to help you avoid common pitfalls, unlock your full potential, and truly enjoy the art of drumming.
