Thistle roofing and property services

This company is the most amazing and professional family run business that I have ever come across.  Headed up by the father Joseph Johnstone and supported by his 3 sons, Joseph, William and Mathew (all under 20 years of age). Every one of them is exceptionally polite.
Joseph Senior called me on day one of my engaging with BARK.  He visited the next morning to assess the work.  Our fence came down in the winds along with some roof slates.
One job at a time, he was able to asses and give a quote on site for the fencing and started within 3 days on a Sunday morning, working around our timetable. They set about conveying the materials through the home (only one access & regress) and were very respectful of the property.  So much so they found another method of getting the huge ladders and fence posts / bars to the back of the property by climbing onto and over a narrow lean to.  Making a chain and with military precision they got everything from A the van to B the back garden.
During day one Joseph kept me up to date step by step of the progress. He also on day one got up on the roofs and assessed and quoted for that work too.
On day two if any obstacle was present, he made sure we were very happy with his plans to make any adaptions or alterations and demonstrating the options.
New Fence is superb.
Then the roof & Chimneys; everything he said they would do was done and even more as needed.
The family work ethic is superb. We kept them topped with beverages and snacks on a help their selves basis using our outdoor workshop.  Again, they were so grateful and thankful. Politeness is another skill this family has as well as their professional work skills.
They even go on the roof at gusts of 46 mph winds and NO radios blasting lol.

Joseph and his sons were outstanding, hard working and very thorough. They gave a good quote and we paid exactly that. They were polite, friendly and cheerful, and tidied up after themselves.
