We recently used Star and Canvas for a wedding celebration, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, Ella and her team were absolutely incredible.
Every detail was thoughtfully executed, making our event truly magical.
The tipis they provided were stunning and set the perfect tone for the evening. The floral arrangements were breathtaking—beautifully crafted and full of life, adding a touch of elegance to the rustic charm of the event that we were looking for. The festoon lighting created a warm atmosphere as the sun set, and the rustic rugs and furniture tied everything together seamlessly.
When it came to catering, the roast lamb was a standout. It was cooked to perfection and received rave reviews from all our guests. Ella’s team managed every aspect of the catering with professionalism and care, including people with allergies, ensuring everything ran smoothly.
Ella herself was an absolute delight to work with—super friendly, organized, and genuinely passionate about making our day special. No request felt too big or too small; she and her team went above and beyond to deliver exactly what we envisioned. We had briefly considered another company, but sticking with Ella was the best decision we made!

Tipi Hire
The Star & Canvas’ giant witches hat Tipis are
super-sized.
Each structure boasts a roomy seated area for a
decadent dining experience (72 cap) or can
provide spacious coverage for a standing event
for up to 120 people.
This unique design allows it’s sides to be raised
but also permits neighbouring tipis to be joined
together. We have 3 in total and can
accommodate up to 200 seated guests or 230
standing with additional stage space.
These structures can be hired with either
wooden flooring or simple hard waring coya
matting and underlay.
Outdoor Furniture Hire
Endlessly long rustic banquet tables,
turkish iron fire pits, reclaimed rattan
dining chairs, heavy duties valhalla
benches, sturdy wooden folding chairs
- we have heaps of outdoor seating to
choose from so you can increase your
capacity.
Whether you’re going for the elegant
ibiza boho chic vibe or something a
little more organic we can seat up to
200 additional guests and create a
bolt-on alfredo area just outside your
tipi space.
