What do you love most about your job?
I really enjoy helping people feel better in themselves. Whether it's about sleeping better and feeling more energised, or improving their confidence or mental well-being. My job is very rewarding because hypnotherapy and psychotherapy in particular, can bring about significant improvements in both the mental and physical well-being of my clients and seeing them smile and feel more positive about themselves and their lives, is an amazing feeling.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had worked in medium and large organisations in senior management roles for over 20 years and wanted to do something more worthwhile with my life, that impacted on the well-being of people. Setting up the MindWell clinic has allowed me to work with so many people, who are struggling with their mental health, be it stress-related problems, like exhaustion and burnout, sleep disturbances, alcohol and smoking cessation, weight management, anxiety, anger management, relationship and confidence issues. Working with people who need support and help when they are feeling most vulnerable, is a real privilege and I get so much satisfaction helping people get back on their feet, feel stronger and more resilient in themselves and most of all, live their best lives.

I am offer therapy both in person ( if you are based in Cheshire or Manchester) or online via zoom. The therapy I provide combines hypnosis and traditional psychotherapeutic techniques like CBT, to bring about immediate changes in the way you feel and think about yourself. At the very least, you will definitely feel an immediate sense of calmness and relaxation but with most clients, the improvements they feel are long-term and transformational. No matter how anxious or embarrassed you maybe feeling, to reach out to a therapist, I can promise you , that you will never feel any judgement from me and that I can provide you a safe and confidential space to share what is troubling you.
