Choosing a builder is a big decision and can cost you a lot of additional cost and stress if you get it wrong. I was impressed by Glen and Rich from the moment we met. They were knowledgeable and transparent about the work. The quote was clear and comprehensive with no hidden charges. During the work they consulted on each step, provided a status at the end of each day, cleaned up and shared the plan for the next day. We ran into some complications due to some pipes and we worked through it together. They were completely focused on making sure I got what I wanted and was happy. A fair price for a job well done. What inspired you to start your own business?
After spending many years working hands-on in the building trade—as an electrician’s mate, then moving into roofing, bricklaying, plastering, and general building—I developed a deep understanding of what quality workmanship looks like and, just as importantly, how customers deserve to be treated.
Over time, I saw gaps in the industry: jobs not managed properly, poor communication, inconsistent standards, and tradespeople who didn’t respect customers’ homes. I knew there had to be a better way.
Starting Testway Construction Ltd gave me the opportunity to take everything I’d learned and build something better. A company that values clear communication, reliability, clean working practices, and honest pricing—while delivering top-quality results from start to finish.
