I use organic, fair trade and locally sourced ingredients that benefit the taste as well as the planet, and specialise in to vegan/vegetarian/gluten free and sugar free diets.

I hired Sophie for my sister's hen do and she was amazing! I have a fair few allergies including dairy, soya, alcohol and cocoa but this didn't faze Sophie at all and she kindly accommodated all my allergies without making me feel like I was awkward or that I was missing out at all. I honestly can't recommend her enough! She has plenty of wonderful and healthy ideas for the menu planning (which is already very helpful), and the dishes she prepares are delicious.

Me and my friend went down to the admiral for dinner tonight courtesy of Super Doux to try the vegan pies, we were not disappointed! I had the curried parsnip lentil with minted peas and it was gorgeous. My friend had the Mexican burrito pie and it was delicious, stacked high with goodness. Sophie put together an amazing menu for my sons 4th bday party. Veggie Sausage rolls were amazing as were the pizza rolls and gluten and sugar free cup cakes. Very happy we found her!
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I really love this part of the process, as I get to think creatively as well as getting to know my clients in more detail! I will spend time talking to the client, to get to know exactly what they are after, suggesting dishes and flavours to inspire them to make a choice. I then use this information with my experience and imagination to create a bespoke menu or cake!
What do you love most about your job?
I am passionate about food, and love the flexibility and variety of working for myself. I really enjoy building relationships with local market traders and independent merchants, as well as local businesses where I sell my cakes, and venues where I run events. Making people happy being part of a special event, and working with clients to create cakes and menus that are really unique and tailored to them. I also love using colours and textures in food as it incorporates my arts background into cooking!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having my own business has always been a dream of mine. After working at various restaurants, and a children's home, creating menus and extra special birthday cakes for the individual children, and after a bit of encouragement, I decided to take the leap and go it on my own!

I work hard to help make your event truly special, and will go out of my way to tailor to your specific requirements. Whether you just want food, or a full package including party/table dressings including flowers, matching Tableclothes, hired equipment and other entertainment. I have a good relationship with local business, including a wine merchant, and musicians too.
I can cater to any diets, with a great deal of experience in vegan cooking, meaning that you don't have to worry about guests missing out on taste due to dietary restrictions. I make tasty and memorable food, and will ensure you get the best value from whatever budget you have!
