We used sparkly cleans to do a deep clean the whole house, oven and tile grout in the kitchen. Barrington from sparky clean office was very friendly and attentive to all that needed to be done.
He made notes of everything I requested for and I also received that info via email. The cleaning was booked for a Thursday however on the day the cleaner Matt texted to say he has double booked and cannot make it. We had prepared everything for the cleaners that day so it was disappointing. However after speaking with Barrington we had another cleaner arranged for the next day which wasn’t ideal but didn’t have a choice. Barrington did give the choice of half work on Thursday afternoon and the next half on Friday but that would be having to cancel some of our plans at home. So we went with Friday.
On Friday David (cleaner) came on time with a helper. They managed to finish the work in less time than expected. I was very pleased with the bathroom. The rest of the rooms were cleaned well. However the carpets could have been vacummed more as there were hair and little bits of dirt on the floor. Not everywhere but mainly in the bedrooms and stairs. I was also told that the kitchen tiles grout will be cleaned as they had turned grey over the years. But David said that he didn’t bring the machine to clean it. He told us that he didn’t know and showed me his notes. I looked at the notes and it was mentioned. It was the same notes as Barrington had emailed me. So I was let down there. They have mopped the floor fine but I really wanted the grout cleaned. Overall they were good. But could have been better.

How long have you been in business?
We set this business up in 2020 starting initially in Northampton then expanding out to Wellingborough; we have a number of regular great clients both residential and small local community companies for which we are very grateful.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
The cleaners will be bring their own products and equipment if requested however please note there is a small surcharge that will be added to the total cleaning bill.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Very simple, we are a family run business and whilst we want to provide a quality service to our clients we also want to demonstrate to our kids that all things are possible if you are prepared to work and put the effort in.
