Structural Surveys
A qualified structural engineer will visit your property to undertake a full structural survey. After completion of the survey, a detailed hand-crafted report will be produced, which will include our comments and opinions, with any recommendations should these be applicable. These surveys are typically suited to those buying / selling their properties, or those looking to obtain a mortgage, or simply for peace of mind.
Building Plans / 3D Modelling
A technician would typically undertake a dimensional survey of the property. Following this, we can produce anything from professional layout drawings (plans), typically used for seeking planning permission or conceptualising ideas, through to full 3D building models, complete with a detailed drawing series including layouts, elevations, sections and more.
Structural Calculations
Structural calculations are required to facilitate structural alterations to an existing property (such as removal of a load bearing wall). SGL are able to provide these to suit your specific requirements, as well as offer advice on what is and is not required for Building Control submission.
Construction Supervision
Construction supervision can provide confidence to our clients, knowing an industry professional is overseeing the work at key stages of construction, such as laying foundations, installing supporting steelwork and related structural works. By engaging a design consultant early on, construction risks are effectively controlled allowing you to focus on seeing your vision come to life.
