Photography is not just about pointing a camera and clicking the shutter button. It is about having a vision and capturing a feeling. I pride myself in making my clients feel comfortable enough to let their true personalities and emotions shine through. What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Simply, what do they want to achieve with their photoshoot? Do they want professionalism, do they want a 'feeling' captured, do they want everlasting memories? More importantly 'What are they hoping to feel when you look back at these photos?' Each photoshoot is bespoke to the client and tailored specifically to what they want to achieve.
What do you love most about your job?
There are so many things I love about being a photographer:
Witnessing and Preserving Fleeting Moments: I get to be present for some of the most significant and beautiful moments in people's lives. From the quiet anticipation of maternity to the explosive joy of a wedding, the delicate newness of a baby, the playful energy of pets, and the evolving connections within families, I am there to freeze those fleeting seconds into lasting memories.
Telling Stories Visually: I am a storyteller without words. Through my lens, I craft narratives about love, connection, growth, personality, and place. Each photograph I take contributes to a larger story, whether it's the history of a family, the excitement of a new chapter, or the unique character of a property.
Connecting with People (and Animals!): My work brings me into close contact with a diverse range of individuals and their beloved pets. You have the opportunity to build rapport, make them feel comfortable, and capture their true essence. These interactions can be deeply rewarding.

What inspired you to start your own business?
It started with a genuine love for capturing moments and creating beautiful images. This passion grew to a point where I wanted to dedicate myself fully to it. I felt in many ways I had a unique way of seeing the world and capturing it through my lens, and starting my own business was the best way to share that vision with others.
