In very short notice I hired the Venue for my Uncle's funeral because as soon as I went to view it, i knew it was just the place i was looking for. The room opened out to fit 130 ppl seated plus room for standing. Newly refurbished, an excellent terrace and very reasonably priced drinks at the bar. There's an overhead projector at the venue for hire also which was an immense help. Would Just like to thank Peter, Anna and the rest of the wonderful team at HGC for all their amazing help throughout the day-but a special huge thanks goes to Gabriela who deals with event coordination and precisely accomadated all of my requests.... Great driving range, reasonably priced. Club hire is extra if you don’t have your own but at £1 per club you can’t really argue. American Golf on site which is well stocked with friendly helpful staff. this really is an all in one place with a driving range, par 3 course, adventure golf and an Italian restaurant all on the one site. Wonderful place! You have the restaurant, the golf course and the golf range itself.Restaurant:Very tasty food, and all the amazing staff. Because I there so much, the staff all happen to know me, and so they always are excited to see me come into their restaurant.Golf Course:Haven't been on it too much but it is a decent 9-hole golf course and I think that it is worth it if you want to go and have a short game.Golf Range:This is the thing I use most, quite a good place to practice, and generally a nice atmosphere. Very nice minigolf to go to and have some fun. It is a bit small but what it lacks in size makes up in the difficulty of some of the holes. The place is well decorated and maintained, suitable for kids, I finished the game in about an about an hour, so not an entire afternoon activity. The staff at reception was lovely and helpful. £8 for a round of nine hole, par 3 pitch and putt. Decent. The greens could be grassier and the hedges a little less strewn in litter, but I guess they’re not probably not planning on holding the Open here any time soon, so that’s ok.
