Without sharing personal details I can say that I left the session feeling a sense of hope for the future. It was not just fleeting hope. I have remained with a positive outlook ever since I began with Sasha. I feel I am beginning a new and better chapter of my life now. More...

Sasha really helped me face some of my demons. I'm not one for opening up easy but she made me feel comfortable from the start and helped my anxiety

Q&As

It’s incredibly rewarding to witness the progress my clients make - whether it’s small, day-to-day shifts in how they speak to or treat themselves, a powerful realisation, or breaking free from damaging patterns. I’ve been honoured to support people as they become kinder to themselves, open up about things that have weighed them down for decades, feel more confident about the future, replace harmful coping mechanisms by facing underlying trauma, and begin to repair or improve relationships through clearer communication. Every step forward is a sign of growing self-awareness and resilience. Even resistance or setbacks have something to teach us - they're a natural part of meaningful change and supporting clients to acknowledge, overcome and learn from these is very rewarding work.

Hi, I’m Sasha Puente — a qualified and compassionate counsellor with a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, a PGDip in Psychology, and a BSc in Human Sciences. As a registered BACP member, I provide a supportive, ethical space for individuals and couples navigating life’s challenges. With a multidisciplinary background and further training in Couples Counselling, my approach blends psychological insight with practical tools for change.
I primarily work from a psychodynamic perspective, helping clients uncover unconscious patterns rooted in past experiences that may be influencing their present. This approach fosters deep self-awareness, supports healthier relationships, and empowers lasting change beyond surface-level coping. I understand how daunting starting therapy can be, and I strive to create a space where you feel truly heard and supported.
I have experience in counselling for a wide range of presenting issues including, but not limited to, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, social anxiety, bereavement, and relationship issues and challenging family dynamics.

The counselling I provide is solely remotely (video call via online platforms such as Zoom/Google Meet/Skype/Microsoft Teams, or phone call via phone/WhatsApp)

Not relevant as all counselling work with clients is carried out online or by telephone, so no changes needed
