Our son recently completed the purchase of his first flat and to put it bluntly it had been left in a disgusting state by the previous owners. Having listing on bark for a cleaning job Roca Care were the only company to contact me. Sven came out on a Sunday morning to assess the job and quote for the job. An oven, family bathroom and en-suite deep clean. He also said they would do the windows, kitchen cupboards and work surfaces. We arranged for the job to be done the following Friday. Sven arrived by 09.30am as arranged and my wife and I went off and left him to it. 4 hours later, we came back, what a great job had been done. A gleaming oven and kitchen area. Windows we could see out of. Family bathroom and en-suite that were clear of all staining and limescale deposits. Not only that but all the skirting boards had been wiped and the floor had been mopped. We can't thank Roca enough for the work they did to bring the flat up to a condition fit to live in. We love having the opportunity and privilege to make a meaningful difference in people's lives, getting to provide support, comfort and care to individuals who need it within our community. Forming personal connections with the people we care for is incredibly rewarding, and seeing them progress is equally fulfilling and highly motivating.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Starting a Domiciliary care business was inspired by our collective deep passion for providing quality personalised care to individuals in their own homes. Having been individually touched in personal ways in life through supporting family members with physical disabilities and mental health, and also having been employed in the care industry collectively for over 20 years in various roles, meant we as a team are well qualified, competent and equipped, to take it a step further, with the ability to give an efficient service which is also personal and encourages autonomy.

Roca Care can be trusted and dependent upon to provide support that is efficient, that truly puts the needs, dignity, choice and independence of the client at the centre, offering flexible, high quality care, tailored to each individual. We each have a personal desire to bring about change and improve the standards of care for any vulnerable people in the community that we get the opportunity to care for. Our staff will undergo rigorous pre employment assessments and checks, followed by a rigorous training prior to coming into contact with any of our clients. Our rates are also competitive in the current market.

Due to the nature of service, it will require to be in person for the majority of the time, to enable assistance and support with personal care, meal preparation and the like.
In certain circumstances , telecare maybe agreed, to give reminders such as medication alerts if required and if agreed upon.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Our service ensures high standards of hygiene are in place. Our staff undergo rigorous training in Health and Safety as well as Infection Control on top of other mandatory courses. This empowers the team to perform their tasks while observing the highest standard of hygiene, while keeping the service user safe. Enhanced Cleaning protocols are in place, the use of personal protective equipment, and the general awareness of social distancing and reporting of illnesses immediately when required, is a norm.
