I studied and practised Reiki in South Africa under my Reiki master Jennifer Akal, who was previously a nurse by profession. Jennifer became a Reiki practitioner after becoming unhappy with how patients were being treated symptomatically with medication. It is through my Reiki work that I practice her philosophy and teachings.
