What do you love most about your job?
Helping to provide alterations and designs of homes that fit the clients vision by providing structural designs that consider the form, cost and material usage to deliver projects on brief, on time and on budget.
What inspired you to start your own business?
There was a lack of structural engineers providing designs to home owners, with the smaller project sizes typical with domestic projects a lack of appetite for the projects was observed resulting in inflated prices from the larger design companies. I wanted to offer a competitive service delivering designs with the care and consideration that should be applied to peoples homes.

We understand that the design and construction process can result in queries in questions. We take care to ensure we are always available to discuss the project and any queries that arise by telephone or email. We prioritise efficient design for material efficiency, both aiding budget control and also environmental impact.

Typically our work requires a site visit to be undertaken where existing structure needs to be considered. This varies depending on the services required but is typically undertaken in a single visit with a duration between 1 and 2 hours. Our design work is undertaken remotely.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Site visits can be undertaken with masks and distancing as required.
