History of Race Line Coaching
Formed in 2018 to change the old-fashioned cycling coach dynamics. Run by ex-British elite athlete Dan Coombe, with a passion to create a new beginning for elite coaching. With added support and guidance from the world stage and individual specilists.

Services

Training will be tracked and monitored through TrainingPeaks and personalised training sessions will be sent to you at the beginning of each week (Sunday night). All sessions are individual and specific to the rider.

In addition, nutritional advice, strength and conditioning advice and physiotherapy advice will be provided to help maintain optimal body condition. Unlimited contact with the coach is available through any platform.

All Training will be tracked via TrainingPeaks (Premium) and daily sessions will be sent to you at the start of every week ( Sunday Night ). Including Gym sessions. Briefly overviewing what needs doing and how to do it. All sessions are individual to the athlete.

Monthly Data Analysis of your training. Go through SMART action plans to make your bike on the bike more worthwhile. This to be over digital call or Email.

Nutritional advice off and on the bike - S&C and physiotherapy advice on keeping your body in top condition.

360° Lactate Profile
Providing a quantifiable insight into how your body responds to varied exercise intensities.

Two testing protocols looking at:

– Aerobic Threshold (low intensity)

– Anaerobic Threshold & capacity (high intensity)

– Lactate Clearance Rate (Recovery Rate)

Pre-fit consultation: We begin with a consultation to understand your cycling goals, riding style, and any specific concerns you may have. We also conduct a physical assessment to understand your body's flexibility, strength, and range of motion.

Analysis: We use advanced bike fitting tools, including 3D motion capture systems and pressure mapping, to analyze your body's biomechanics while riding. This allows us to identify any imbalances, inefficiencies, or discomforts in your current bike fit.

Customization: Based on our analysis, we customize your bike fit to match your unique needs. This may include adjusting your bike's saddle height, angle, and fore-aft position, handlebar position, and pedal cleat alignment.

Follow-up: We conduct a follow-up session to ensure that you are comfortable with your new bike fit and make any necessary adjustments.
