First time visiting the Design centre and I was thoroughly impressed by the showrooms and warm welcome of the showrooms’ managers. Plenty to see and experience and nice food options too. Looking to come back for the London design week! More...

It is undoubtedly one of the greatest hubs not only for designers, people who like to find the way to find the correct products for their dream space/project, but also it is a great place for building connections tradesmen-manufacturer.

Unnecessary and massive lighting throughout the night on the top floor of the building (the one with the car park), causing light pollution and nuisance for nearby neighbours. Very inconsiderate to the community. More...

A short walk from the overground station, easy to get to. Went to visit wow house and lived all the designers inside the centre. I loved the bathroom showrooms especially as they were all quite different in functionality and aesthetic. The restaurant inside was absolutely incredible. It had incredible food dishes and the service was quick and friendly from the staff. Modern British Kitchens were especially helpful and enthusiastic and you could tell the owner was passionate about his trade. More...

Loved visiting Chelsea Harbour, food and drink a bit expensive, wear good shoes, lots of designer's to see, everyone very nice, special mention to Peter Pan, you'll find him on the ground floor, well worth talking to. I will be back.

London Design Week was fantastic but the accessibility in a place that prides itself on being a home of interior design was frankly quite shocking. If arriving via train and you have a wheelchair or pram, you have to circle the entirety of the building to get to ramp access - not very inclusive. Furthermore, at this back entrance there is no check-in desk so you either have to find your way to the centre of the building or the front entrance which you already had to pass to get to the wheelchair access point. Some of the lifts were also very skinny, making it a tight squeeze for wheelchairs and prams, and most disappointingly of all, almost all of the companies I visited did not include accessibility as a feature of their products. This was even more frustrating when a couple of the companies confirmed they have accessible ranges overseas that have not been approved for the UK yet - the lack of accessible design seems to be, in part, due to companies not wanting the hassle of the approval process. As well as all of this, seating around the Design Centre is not very suitable for disabled people such as myself who require frequent breaks: the seating is sparse and is very low to the ground. These egg-shaped seats have no backs on them either, which adds to the strain. I found myself wandering into certain furniture shops just to sit down. A lot of what was showcased was absolutely fantastic but it was let down considerably by the lack of consideration of accessibility. If you're looking for inspiration, it's a great hub for that but just be aware that getting around the building is difficult if you have any accessibility requirements. More...

This is a lovely place. Beautiful in fact. Good parking garage which is very reasonably priced. Bit empty though which is sad. They are not open over the weekends which is very strange. More...

I absolutely love this place. It may be the creativity in me or the fact that I am in love with interiors. There's so much to see here and it's set in a lovely part of London.
