How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
The loft space is only suitable for a loft conversion providing there enough head height. If there’s isn’t enough head hight you could lower bedroom ceiling to allow for adjustments.
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
Drawings and calculations by design. Install scaffolding. Remove sections of roof to allow steel beams to be installed to include ridge beam. It’s important to get the flooring steel beams in position to allow for joist work to be installed and flooring fixed. All frame work be installed for dormer and stud partition walls to be installed, roof coverings be applied and all electrical services be fitted within Stud partition walls and ceiling joists, allowing for second fix later stage. Provide all plumbing services for the ensuite and radiators to main loft should this be required within a loft. All airtight insulation be applied to comply with building regulation U-values. Insuring the means of escape is compartmentalised thereby providing fire doors to each room on the way down from the loft.

Include extensions, lofts, bespoke kitchens, fitted wardrobes etc, all from our bespoke joinery workshop, allows us to take full control. We prefer face-to-face meeting to go through what you would like. A full programme is offered a long the timeline so you are able to see where we are in the build process.
