I have had about 10 sessions now with Freya, and I couldn't recommend her enough. As someone who has had experience with a lot of different therapists over the years, with limited success, it makes a really nice change to actually see a positive change in my mental health due to therapy. Freya has done lots of work with me using techniques I have never used before, and it feels like a really collaborative process, which I find really beneficial. If you want someone who gives you things to work on and do in between sessions, then she's the therapist for you. Contacting Freya was one of the best things I've done in my life.
I started off wanting to improve my concentration and to avoid passing on certain traits to my child (anxiety, bad reactions to sudden loud noises) Session by session we unpicked the causes and dealt with childhood trauma that I'd both knowingly and unknowingly suppressed.
From there I was taught a combination of exercises and ways of thinking which I often do now without realising. I've come out the other side of our sessions an infinitely happier, more confident, more assertive, healthier person which in turn has allowed me to be a much better father, husband, friend and businessman.
I'd highly recommend Freya to anyone. The whole experience has been transformative and I'll be forever grateful.

The way that she describes things that I don't understand, is like a light bulb moment it all makes sense now. What do you love most about your job?
What I do isn't a job, it's a passion and a vocation.
I can't imagine anything more empowering than teaching people the skills they need to navigate life for the better. We all deserve to learn skills which help us maximise our quality of life. In such desperate times, with so much stress and uncertainty in life, we have never needed to learn how to cope more.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My own long history of dealing with EUPD, Depression, Anxiety, and Agoraphobia and being let down by free services led me to find the answers to managing complex comorbidity. Losing my mother to illness in my teens and my sister to suicide in my twenties only strengthened my resolve to help as many people I can. I then started to volunteer for SHOUT, a mental health crisis line to refine and practise my skills. The experience showed me how let down we all feel, on a grander scale than i could have imagined. You re not NOT alone. I am here to cut out the pop psych misinformation and provide practical solutions to managing difficult experiences, thoughts, behaviours and feelings.

My focus is enabling you to be your own therapist by teaching you the skills you need to effectively cope with almost anything. I offer a free no-obligation 30 minute consultation where you can ask any questions you wish, and decide for yourself whether I am the type of therapist you envisaged seeing. I offer fast solutions, clients often seeing transformative effects in as little as 4 sessions. Short term treatment plans last 6, 1.5 hour sessions on average. You choose your Goals. You choose your frequency. You choose the techniques we use. If you need a professional that truly understands thinking, behaving and feeling differently in response to stress is not as easy as the academia might suggest, I am absolutely the right therapist for you.

If you're feeling anxious I will wear a mask, and I always keep a personal distance of at least 1m as a point of preference.
