I was introduced to Precison contractors via the Association of Master Tradesmen coming after a long period of trying to source a quality builder and architects.
I was about to give up until I meet with Sam and Jack.
Our project was a new extension to create a downstairs bathroom with a dog shower and in addition extending our lounge room as part of the original 1905 house. Part of the project was then creating a large paving area alongside the back of the house, and annex.
The original house also required a must needed makeover and essential maintenance including replacing the old roof and conservatory.
To find a builder willing and skilled to take on a new build project and renovation work was hard (most just wanted the new build).
What attracted me to Precison was their approach to client communication. They appreciated the importance of trust and workmanship and came with the experience to tackle the unknowns which always arise with old buildings.
We faced lots of challenges - the main one being the roof being in worse condition than expected but with open dialogue and patience on both our sides we got through and now the project is coming to the end, we are so happy with the result.

Loft Conversions
Precision contractors, Jack and his team, have been fantastic to work with from start to finish on our build. Whilst, the extension and kitchen refit we had done, should have been a simple job for the team, unfortunately we hit a number of challenges along the way.
All of these have been resolved, with little input required by us, making the whole process a lot smoother and simpler from our perspective.
The team could not do enough to make sure we were happy with the job done, to the point they built our kids new beds whilst we were on holiday so they had somewhere to sleep when we got home. This is above and beyond our expectations. The work completed has been to extremely high standards and the customer service has been faultless. What they have delivered has transformed our home and is beyond anything we could have imagined.
I will be recommending Jack to anyone that requires building work in the future and am extremely sad to see them wrap up our project, as it has been a pleasure dealing with all the team on a day to day basis.

Can’t recommend this company enough! Friendly, honest and reliable! Precision Contractors were so helpful from start to finish on our extension. As young home owners and our first extension they were patient with all our questions and worries and really made us feel secure in our choice to choose them to do our build. They were professional from the beginning ensuring that they understood what we wanted, and efficient in making sure that everything was up to the latest building standards as well as keeping us updated along the process. We instructed Precision on our 6 figure project shortly after moving in. They weren’t the cheapest but equally not the most expensive either.
The project included a large rear extension with a pitched roof, skylights, some VERY large steels, internal works to create additional rooms, all electricals, all plumbing, plastering and kitchen fitting etc as well as re-routing mains water pipes. They took care of all building control requirements along the way also.
Jack, Sam and their team worked tirelessly in a range of weather conditions (verging on the ridiculous at times) to keep the project moving forward. As with any older property, we were thrown a few challenges along the way, all of which were dealt with in a proactive, professional and fair manner… as well as good humour. Which certainly helped at the time! Would gladly recommend for similar works. Good people.

I have been extremely impressed, from start to finish, by the service and work undertaken to install a dormer to an existing loft conversion.
Sam responded almost immediately to my request for a quote and then quickly visited me to survey the room that I wanted extended. He clearly explained what needed to be done and very quickly provided me with a very competitive quote.
Sam/Jack dealt with all aspects of the conversion including obtaining the necessary approval from the planning authority, complying with building regulations. The Building Inspector approved all the work that had been undertaken with flying colours!
I must compliment Jack and his workmen for their politeness and for being so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. They cleaned up after each stage and took great care not to damage my home.
The quality of the work was outstanding and Sam/Jack frequently inspected the work done at every stage to ensure it met with their very high standards and my expectations. If I asked for anything to be changed it was never a problem. I very much appreciated Sam’s professional advice and the outcome.
I was so impressed by the workmanship that I asked Sam/Jack to undertake additional work such as laying block paving on my drive and patio area. Also I had concerns about the drainage at my property. Sam very quickly identified the problem which required modifying the existing sewer. The work was completed in 2 days with minimal disruption.
Overall the service, craftsmanship, professionalism and friendliness was exemplary. I would recommend to friends, family or anyone looking to make home improvements.

We had a home office/ bar/ TV room built in our garden along with landscaping; a new patio, new fence and gate installed. It's transformed our garden . Access to our garden is not straight forward and we originally had a very old split level paving area which needed to be removed (along with the two layers of concrete under it) so just to prepare the space was not straightforward! All the way through the build we found Jack and the whole team very accommodating to our changing requests and offering advice. Communication was always excellent, even when there were some challenges around sourcing materials or engaging different trades which made them a pleasure to work with throughout.
