Immediate response and an excellent cleaner hope to use them again

Having worked for almost a year, with the company, I am confident of the care I provide for my clients, and all the support I have been given during this period of my career as a carer, from the very first day I stepped there as a worker, through to all the training I have received, the people I shadowed with, I can go on and on, the office team and their prompt response to emails sent them, through to raising concerns about work and how it is picked up asap, I wouldn't take this career progression for granted at all. Not a very good company to have The manager does not know what she is doing She's changing the staffs rotas and confusing the staff ,and also the clients too Which is not fair on them

I’d like to acknowledge the high level of service provided by Sylvian Care including the Manager. The hard work, care and attention to detail shown by the carers is exceptional, and I have already seen the positive impact this has had on my Mum. She is very relaxed, happy and is communicating more. My Mum is quite a sensitive person and responds positively when she is shown kindness and attention; which is what she has experienced since the start of her package with Sylvian care. The carers have also highlighted issues that have not been picked up previously, which is very reassuring. I also really love the Birdie app, which details each visit. I can see what she’s eaten and her mood and meditation taken etc., which is really important for me to have access to this information. I’m also informed promptly if there are any issues. I was looking for a general clean once or twice a week with say one person to do the job. Instead I got three people with the idea of doing a really exhaustive cleaning job more suitable for a workplace. They did an extremely efficient job but it was rather more than I needed with three people. I cannot fault them but this was rather unexpected and I would be happier with a local person. More...

Please keep you loved ones safe and away from carers from Sylvian care. My father was unhappy with carers from this company named Irina and Poenaru. We investigated and discovered these two women were emotionally abusing my father and neglecting his care needs. My father is a fragile old man, age 90 and these two women took advantage of his vulnerability and bullied him. The carers did not respect my father's dignity, privacy and emotionally abused him. Not sure about the company Staff are OK but not great Think the managent team could do a lot better don't think they to there employers the correct rota etc etc etc Maybe this company is not going to last long open I can see this company closing down soon As the staff that visit people will get tired of the management team in the end But why don't the management team put the feet into the carers shoes one day and see how the cares dat to day life is for them I can't see the management team lasting long

I had my family member looked after by SylvianCare Reading & Wokingham for over 5 years. I must admit I was always impressed about the staff professionalism and knowledge. Office team very helpful and finding solutions even on weekends, holidays etc. I admire their team Chris, Paul, Tina, Mary and Glynnis! You are always answered and given a choice and best treatment. The team was always involved and absolutely amazing during Covid. They have managed everything with top class ! I have also had the chance to speak and meet few times the CEO’s of the company Mr Sylvian and Cristine , always there for us and very open and transparent , both very professional and compassionate about this care business. Working on my 4 year already with SYLVIANCARE LTD, I can tell you that it is a great experience , carear developer and 5* team. Our Management is person centred and is taking every oportunity to support staff in their development and achive new qualifications. I am working on my OCF 5 Management now but I started gradualy from scrach. My mother has been using Sylvian care, since she came out of hospital following a stroke in July 2017, she/we find all the carers, and other staff, are all very helpful, and cheerful and understanding of her needs, they work to a very high standard and although on a understandable busy timetable, they find the time to chat and not rush things, which makes things run much easier, at what at some times can be a very stressful situation.
